Little Tikes Cozy Coupe

If my parents had gotten me one of these as a child, perhaps I wouldn’t be obsessed with small cars. Enough said. Don’t deprive children of a Cozy Coupe!

The Cozy Coupe is designed by Little Tikes. Little Tikes is an American manufacturer located in Ohio.

If the Cozy Coupe is familiar to your childhood, that means you grew up in 1979 or later. 1979 was the first year the Little Tike was sold, and it was called the worlds best selling car by the New York Times in 1998. Technically, it had outsold the Honda Accord and Ford Taurus in those years, with over 500,000 units sold in 1991.

In 1998, with the original design nearly 20 years old, Little Tikes introduced the Cozy Coupe II. The Cozy Coupe II added stronger pillars on the front roof, however, it did not feature seat belts or antilock brakes.

0-60 speed is unknown.
