An East Coast Defender Masterpiece

East Coast Defender (ECD) Automotive design is to Land Rovers what Singer is the Porsche. ECD takes Land Rovers from Series, Defender, and even Classic Range Rovers, and performs custom ground up restorations.

To date they’ve built over 250 custom Land Rovers, and the one we’re looking at today is a masterpiece. It’s a Land Rover Defender 110 wagon (probably the most valuable of Land Rovers) and is named Project New England Safari.

It features a 6.2L LS3 V8 engine with 565-hp matched to a 6 speed automatic transmission. They installed a custom exhaust, custom air suspension (amazing), and deer hide interior!

The moment I looked at the car I fell in love, the emerald green with the black trim is just my style. I’m sick of seeing black on black defenders, and white on black is overdone at this point. This is just perfect.

The vehicle is finished off with LED light bars, yellow Hella rally lights, brush bars with a winch, and black wheels matching a black soft top.

ECD made an awesome video showing off the project, which you can checkout right on their website.

Should you ever be in the market for a 6 figure custom range rover, ECD should be your first call.
