You can change your location in one of 2 different ways - If you are on the "Quick Search" page just under the "Date Range" category you will see your current location with an option to "Change Location" just below, click on this link you will be taken back to the TireKickers homepage and you can select your new area from there. The second option to change your location is by visiting our "Advanced Search" page. You can refine your location down to anything within Canada by clicking on the "Other" tab beside the "City" field. ↑TOP - I live in an area outside of the major cities you have listed, how do I refine my search to look in my location?
You can refine your search area by clicking on the "Advanced Search" menu tab at the top of our site. Then click on the "Other" checkbox and enter your the areas that you would like to search ie. Okotoks, Fort MacMurray, etc. ↑TOP
Registration Answers: - Do I have to register to view listings?
No you don't have to register with our site to view listings or contact sellers. We want you to have an easy browsing experience and we want our sellers to sell their vehicles without any hassles. ↑TOP
- Do I have to register to create a listing?
Yes. You will have to register with TireKickers to create your vehicle listing. This is to reduce occurences of "SPAM" ↑TOP
- Do I have to put my profile in your site?
Yes. Your profile is very important and should have as much information as possible displayed in it. Without it your potential buyers will have problems trying to get in touch with you. It also controls where your vehicles are listed for location searches. ↑TOP
- Can I have more than one listing?
Yes you can have up to 10 listings on our site. If you need more you can contact a system admistrator . Please note that a charge may apply. ↑TOP
- How much does it cost to create a listing?
Listing on TireKickers.com is FREE. You can create up to 10 listings for no charge. We do have other products that you can purchase to spruce up your listing, but if you're just looking to get your vehicle up on a high traffic site, then all you need to do is create an account and start listing. ↑TOP
- How long will my listing run for?
Yor listing will run for 60 days whether you sign-up for a Free, Premium or Featured account. You will be notifed that your listing is coming off the site. ↑TOP
- Do I have to notify you to keep my listing up if it hasn't sold?
Your listing will run for a period of 60 days. You will receive email notification 14 days before your listing expires. You will need to update your listing before that time runs out in order to keep your listing on the site. If you do not renew it, the listing will be automatically removed from our site. ↑TOP
- How do I delete my listing if it has sold?
To delete your listing you will need to login to the TireKickers site. You will be directed to your "My Listings" page from there you can view all listings that are currently on the site. Click the "Delete Listing" icon for that listing and it will be taken care of for you. ↑TOP
- How do I edit my listing?
To edit your listing, you need to login to the TireKickers site. You will be directed to your "My Listings" page. From there you can view all of your listings. You can edit any one of them by clicking on the "Edit Listing" icon for that listing and you will be taken into the details for that item. ↑TOP
- What's the difference between "Free", "Premium" and "Featured" listings?
Free Listings: Are FREE, you don't need to pay! You are allowed to enter a description on that listing and can input 3 images. There is no payment whatsoever!! It is FREE as long as you want it to run. Detailed specifications can be entered on the upgraded listings so you may prefer to pay a minimal fee and give more information on your vehicle and include more images!
Premium Listings: Premium listings are priced reasonably at $3.99/listing. You have access to all features for creating a listing - You can place a long descrtiption for your listing, you can add up to 12 images for your vehicle, you can add specifications to your listing as well. You will also have a "Premium" icon placed beside your listing and a "Bolded" listing title to separate your listing from the other listings. Featured Listings: Featured listings are your best bang for the buck. Priced at $9.99/listing you have access to all features that a Premium listing has but your listing is now placed in a rotation on the homepage for your specific location. It is also placed in the top search results for your specific vehicle type. You will also get a "Featured" icon displayed beside your listing title. If you are wanting to sell your vheicle quickly then purchasing this option is the way to go. ↑TOP
- Which pages does my featured ad appear on?
Your Featured listing will appear on the "Homepage" of your listing location ie. Selling your Featured car in Calgary will place your Featured listing on the Calgary Homepage. It will also be displayed in rotation on the "Advanced Search" page for that location. Featured listings also show up as the top search results when someone searches for your type of vehicle. ↑TOP
- How do I pay? What payment methods do you accept?
Payment is made through Paypal. It is a secure payment method that accepts all major credit cards. You can use an existing account or use the one-time payment feature. Creating an account is fast and easy! ↑TOP
- Will you accept payment other than through Paypal?
At this time we only accept Paypal payments. It is easy to use and secure. A Paypal account is not required to complete payment, there is no need to create an account with Paypal, they offer a one-time payment service. Simply go to our payment page and enter your information - Paypal will deposit your money into our account automatically. Only Paypal has access to your credit card information. It is safe, secure and simple to use.
